The two had just finished having dinner with the photographer (people).

AZZEDINE ALAIA TURNS DOWN DIOR JOB
Azzedine Alaia turned down the chance to replace John Galliano at Christian Dior.
Galliano was sacked from the French fashion house earlier this year after he allegedly made anti-Semetic remarks in a Paris cafe and Alaia was offered the job of helming the label, but decided it wasn't for him. "Mr. Alaia wasn't interested. Flattered, but not about to pursue. The story of what happened with John was a sad story, he said when I asked him, and he didn't want to be part of the next chapter. And that's even before you got to the other stuff," journalist Vanessa Friedman reported in the Financial Times.

VERSACE FOR H&M
Following up on its highly successful projects with designers like Lanvin, Karl Lagerfeld, and
Comme des Garçons, H&M has just announced that its next designer collaboration will be with the legendary house of Versace.
Designed by creative director Donatella Versace, the collection will channel the legacy and heritage of the Italian luxury label by incorporating leather, prints and a lot of colour. The collection, which will include items designed for men, women and home, will be available starting November 17th at 300 H&M stores worldwide and online. Versace has also agreed to design an exclusive pre-spring collection for H&M that’s expected to launch online on the 19th of January. (HB)

CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN FALL 2011 LOOKBOOK
Christian Louboutin and photographer Peter Lippman, who first worked together a couple of years ago, have teamed up again — this time to create Louboutin's Fall 2011 lookbook. The seven images are inspired by classic portrait paintings and features recreations of iconic works — including Whistler's Mother, Georges de la Tour’s “Magdalene and the Flame” and Francisco De Zurbaran's Saint Dorothy.
Models: Trissan Polas, Sterenn Nogues, Karom Kelly, Lia Catreux, Francoise de Stael, and Karen Assayag.
